■Features of our industrial park

We are carrying out original campaigns to prolong the 

prosperity of our industrial park in these days of 

rapid advances in newly developed industries, such as, 

mechatronics, optonics and the advanced information 

industry, into the conventional industrial structure.

The Technolakeside project describes the future of

Suwa City as Mechatroland, that is, a city center with 

complex advanced technology. We aim at making an attractive 

industrial park comprising characteristic and active 

companies which form the core of Suwa City. We will 

effectively apply both our experience accumulated over 

30years and flexible sense with young workers in our 

industrial park to explore new possibilities.

■Outline of our industrial park

Suwa Precision Machinery Industrial Park was organized 

in 1962 under the Subsidy system for Developing Small 

and Medium Enterprise. It has now developed into a united 

body of 22 companies in various industries including 

the precision machinery industry, the nucleus of this 

industrial park and other businesses relating to printed 

circuit boards, die casting, metal printing, heat 

treatment of metals, springs, molding, industrial 

rubber, precision functional plating, dies and mechanical 

system assembly. 

The production system meets user demands for complex 

processing requiring highly intensive technology and 

unit orders increasing with rapid progress of technological 

innovation. As one of the leading industrial parks in Japan , 

Suwa  Precision Industrial Park is developing through close

 cooperation of 22 companies.
